ABOUT THE PAULDING COUNTY AREA FOUNDATION
The Paulding County Area Foundation is a Not-For-Profit Ohio corporation that was formed on February 2, 1982. Its official purpose is to receive and accept property to be administered exclusively for charitable purposes, primarily in and for the benefit of the people of the Paulding County, Ohio area for such purposes:
- To administer for charitable purposes property donated to the corporation
- To distribute property for such purposes in accordance with the terms of gifts, bequests, or devises to the corporation not consistent with its purposes, as set forth in the Articles of Incorporation, or in accordance with determinations made by the Board of Trustees pursuant to the Articles of Incorporation
- To distribute property to qualified charitable organizations.
The Paulding County Area Foundation accepts tax deductible donations from donors for either general or specific purposes for which the interest only is distributed, and the principal invested by the Foundation. It has been approved by the Internal Revenue Services as a 501 (c)(3) organization.
VISION STATEMENT
The Paulding County Area Foundation is recognized as the primary philanthropic organization for tax deductible giving, at all levels, allowing individuals and groups to fund endowments providing grants for the benefit of Paulding County today and for future generations.
